  Holy crap, I got another birding story published - fooled 'em again! I tried to write something more topical and 'publishable' this time, about a grim birding trip in the not-too-distant future. This one is getting better reviews: "A bit laboured, but it built to a fine end."
  Heh, I'll take it.
